Hey friend! If you’re reading this you probably have a toddler, so that means you’re going to be interrupted 23,894 times. I’ll get cut to the chase before someone needs a snack or pees on your floor.
- Chick Pea Foam! If your little one likes to eat everything then this one is for you. Chick pea foam is fun, safe, and fluffy! All you need is the liquid from 2 cans of chick peas (they are $1.49 at Superstore right now so if you end up tossing the actual chick peas who cares), 1/2 tsp of cream of tarter, and a mixer. You will want to drain all the liquid into a bowl and mix on high for about 5 minutes. You can add food colouring if you want but not necessary. Once it gets all fluffy you can add tiny toys or utensils. I used to put my little ones in the bath tub with a bowl of this stuff and some paint brushes and let them go nuts. When they are done you just rinse them down, viola!
- Magnetic tiles stick to garage doors. You’re welcome. 😉
- If you have one of those boon grass drying racks and dozens of Tylenol syringes like we did, set them in-front of your little one and see what they do. Mine loved to put the syringes on the grass blades and take them off. Again, and again, and again.
- Make a small slit in the top of an empty coffee canister and let your little one slip things into it. Playing cards, dominos, anything skinny!
- Water painting! I would often tape up large pieces of cardboard to the wall with a towel underneath, or if it’s warm outside they can do they sidewalk/fence/house, etc. It’s just water!
- Last but not least.. drum roll please.. get Kids Portraits done with Suzi Buhiire Photography, that’s me! 😉 I would love to meet you and your kiddos, lets capture all their adorable features before they change again.
xo,
Suzi
