Having an Edmonton Headshot Session done is an excellent way to make a good first impression and convey your professionalism. Here are some tips to help your headshot session run as smoothly as possible.
- What to wear: This one is tricky because it entirely depends on your profession. However, I recommend wearing something that represents the attire for the job you are in or applying for. When in doubt, wear something flattering that is simple & neutral with no words. Please be sure to iron and lint roll your clothing.
- What to prep: If you have a specific pose you are needing to replicate for your session, please bring an example photo so I can duplicate it for you.
- What to expect: I will send you a confirmation email the day before your session that will also contain my exact address. You can park in the driveway and go around to the back door. We will go down to my home studio located in Aldergrove, 2 minutes from West Edmonton Mall. Depending on your outfit changes your session will likely last from 20-40 minutes.
- Choosing your photos: Once you are home I will go through all of your images and narrow it down to all the best images. You will receive a proofing gallery of the unedited images where you will be able to select your favourites. Once you have finalized your selection, I will begin editing for you and deliver your online gallery within 2-3 weeks.
